Cable and Wireless has been following closely the current weather conditions particularly with respects to hurricane Irma located approximately 270 miles east of Antigua with maximum sustained winds of 175 mph.

Irma is forecasted to remain a powerful category 4 or 5 hurricane during the next couple of days and hurricane warnings are in effect for Antigua, Anguilla, Montserrat, St. Kitts, and Nevis, Saint Martin, British Virgin Islands.

In addition to our preparations above, we will be conducting extensive monitoring of our infrastructure to ensure that the environment is in an optimal state. Resources will also be on standby to address any issue that may arise.

Provided for your reference are our escalation contacts should you need to reach us.

We wish to assure you that we will be working assiduously to ensure there is minimum impact to your services and hope that your colleagues, family and friends remain safe.
