We did it again! Thanks to your hard work and dedication, day in and day out, C&W Networks has recently been awarded with not one, not two, but three industry awards! We are  pleased to announce we have won The Best Caribbean Wholesale Carrier at the Capacity Global Carrier Awards for the fourth consecutive year. This award is a true honor as it demonstrates our leadership and ongoing commitment to the region. Additionally, we took home awards in two different categories from the prestigious Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) Excellence Awards of 2016. This is a real accomplishment considering we faced very stiff competition and C&W Networks has never been in the running for this award. This year, C&W Networks sponsored CariCam and VAS Forum LATAM, a pair of events that took place in Miami from November 14th to the 16th. Participation in these events offer major business opportunities. These opportunities are high-level industry events that bring together key players, operators and providers to discuss how to promote the telecommunications industry in Central America and the Caribbean. Additionally, these events offer the perfect opportunity for networking considering the high-quality, industry-focused case studies that were presented. These lead to discussions and a sharing of experiences between operators and other industry players. Liberty Global, which we joined in May of this year, recently announced second-quarter results for 2016/17, updating the investment community on company developments. We’re pleased to share operating and financial highlights from the group’s report: 9,000 organic revenue generating units (RGUs) were added in Q2 2016/17. Q2 2016/17 mobile revenue saw a 2% year-over-year drop, except in the Bahamas. Flow established itself as a leading sports broadcaster in the Caribbean. The Olympics campaign was successful. Partnership with Juniper Networks to Enhance Customer Connectivity

C&W Networks has been awarded MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE 2.0) Industry Standard Certification for E-Line, E-LAN, E-TREE, and E-ACCESS services through the use of Juniper Networks’ MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers. With this distinction, there is no doubt that our company meets global support requirements. This offers more scalable and reliable solutions to our customers. Thanks to this partnership, our company passed a rigorous testing process covering a full range of requirements including, performance and bandwidth profiles. Using Juniper Networks’ MX104, MX240, MX480 and MX960 routers, C&W Networks’ international MPLS Ethernet network was certified MEF 2.0-compliant in June 2016. The MEF Carrier Ethernet Certification Program is designed to ensure that equipment and services comply with MEF standards and enable carrier interoperability.
